Brains on the Beach
The top ranked 4% of Manatee County High School Seniors will be recognized for their outstanding academic achievements with a "day at the beach" on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Beach House Restaurant, during the 19th Annual Brains on the Beach event. The Beach House Restaurant hosts the students with the beach location, volleyball, refreshments and food. The Foundation coordinates the event for the students. Each student will receive a t-shirt and a goody bag commemorating the day's event.
