Teachers Wishing Well
In the year 2000, the School District Purchasing Department formed The Teachers Wishing Well to try to relieve teachers from spending their own money to meet classroom needs.
The Teachers Wishing Well is open to all teachers in Manatee County. Included are; daycares, private schools, pre-K and home-school teachers. Some of the materials offered are: toys, books, desks, recycled materials, crayons, glue and more.
The Wishing Well continues to be managed by the District's Purchasing Department, but is operated by volunteers. It is open the first Saturday of every month during the school year from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and is located at 3405 5th Street East in Bradenton.
Donations for supplies can be made through the Foundation. Our address is:
