4th Graders Get Snooty About Science At The South Florida Museum
"This field trip was on of the best educational trips I have been on in my 27 years of teaching! It was age appropriate and the students used their math skills, higher level thinking and saw many ways that science, math and social studies work together."
This program is a comprehensive, museum-based educational experience for all fourth grade teachers and students in the Manatee County School District. It compliments the District's standards-based science curriculum and prepares students for FCAT-Science success. This program was funded by the Foundation through a matching grant, with special thanks to our grant participants, Bright House Networks and FPL.
