heART & Soul Gala and Live Art Auction
Gala and Live Art Auction raise over $35,000
The Manatee Education Foundation held its first ever heART & Soul Gala and Live Art Auction on November 30, 2007 at the South Florida Museum. The sold-out crowd of 250 community and business leaders dined on a wonderful dinner catered by Mattison's and then the spirited live auction began raising money for the Foundation and art scholarships for Manatee County high school students. Guests were also joined by the 25 high school students that donated their artwork for the auction and their teachers.
Plans for the 2008 heART & Soul Gala and Live Art Auction are well underway. The event will be held Friday, November 21st, 2008 at the Lakwood Ranch Country Club at 6pm.
